Stick Dance are a type of traditional dance which dancers are dancing with sticks in her hands, which making a bites according to music and blend with body evolutions. This dance don't have a sure origin. There are people who said that was a land rite, others that was a troops training in peace times. Stick Dance are knew in several countries of Europe as England, Nederland, Basque Country, Castile and overcoat in Catalonia, which have very fame. We can claim that Stick Dance is the traditional Catalan older dance which is danced today. The first written allusion are XII Century.

"Els Ceballuts", stick dancers from Sant Feliu de Llobregat (near of Barcelona), are a dance group who make this type of dance. They are 12 boys and girls who dressing a traditional wear dance in city festivities parades and stages. They are come along by musicians who play "gralla" and drum. The "gralla" is an instrument of wind-timber of double flap and have sharp and strident sound. This is the most popular instrument of Catalonia and the songs used are of traditional Catalan repertory.
